  1. As a kid I had constant problems with cavities, regardless of my brushing habits. I am convinced that people have differences in the thickness of their enamel as well as different bacterial colonies that affect tooth decay. I had never heard of cod liver oil as a help–very interesting!

  2. You did a good job on your website and  Telling us about tooth decay, I have had three tooth removed, As I realized the importance of having teeth, I have floss and brushed my teeth regularly, What I like about preventing tooth decay take fish oils, I have also learned from books about staying healthy, My success would be not to lose any more teeth, Thank you for your information, I hope you like my comment, Stay healthy.

    • Hi Edward,

  3. Dave,
I have taking fish oil in the past for something else, but I had no idea it helped with dental care. Great article. Keep up the good work, add some more foods that help as well too. I would prefer to eat it and not take pills for it. Thanks.

    • Hi Patricia,

This particular fish oil helps with so many different things in our bodies as it provides many things that could be missing from our diets. Some people might be missing certain elements from their diet more than others, so it helps everyone differently. I would prefer to eat foods as well but to get the same nutrients that this fish oil provides, I would just prefer to take these capsules. They come in capsule form and not pills. I will add a new post or update the foods to eat so as to show you more foods we can eat instead of taking this fish oil.

  4. Hi Dave,
Your website is simple, easy to read and navigate around. Good down to earth information that works – everyone, especially children need to guard against tooth decay. Makes us conscious of what we are eating as well.

    • Hi Dianne,

Thanks for your comments about my site. I wasn’t aware of how much impact the foods we eat have on our dental health before I started this site. Where I used to eat a fair amount of junk food, just thinking, oh, I can just clean my teeth, I am more careful and selective about what I put in my mouth now.

  5. Wow! Good thing I came across your site, my dental appointments are way overdue… Maybe I don’t have to see my dentist anymore!!! Please keep me posted of any new developments. Cheers!

    • Hi Gerald.

It is still good to see a dentist occasionally to get a check up and check if any decay is present. I take the fish oil I promote and I don’t have any decay issues, I have even been able to reverse decay using this fish oil in the past. Our modern diets do not promote foods that naturally prevent decay, they promote foods that encourage it. If you are interested in buying the fish oil I personally use, click here to go to the page where you can buy it from. This page also has a book by Ramiel Nagel that details everything about curing tooth decay that I have read and can say, is totally awesome in the depth of detail it goes into about tooth decay.

  6. Hey would you mind sharing which blog platform you’re working with?
I’m planning to start my own blog in the near future but I’m
having a difficult time making a decision between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal.
The reason I ask is because your design and style seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for something unique.

P.S Sorry for being off-topic but I had to ask!

    • Hi Lilla,

I would be only to happy to let you know what blog platform I am working with. Not many people have been leaving comments so it is nice to have someone to reply to. I am using word press and the format is quite unique. I like it too.

It is not really off topic as I am helping you and that is the purpose of this site, to help people. 🙂

  7. Thanks for the info.  It's interesting that I can actually reverse some tooth decay – good to know.  I've also heard that fish oil is good for the heart other things as well so I'll definitely think about adding it to my regular vitamin supplement that I take daily.

    • Hi Kristy,

Thanks for your comments. There are many types and brands of fish oils on the market these days but they are not all the same. In order to prevent or repair tooth decay and assist with many other ailments, the fish oil needs to contain the correct ratio of fat-soluble vitamin A to fat-soluble vitamin D. Many over the counter vitamins do not even have fat-soluble vitamins in them, you need to buy a special type of fish oil, such as the one I talk about and promote.

I have added it to my daily vitamin intake and it has helped me, apart from helping stop decay, so I am sure it would help you too 🙂

  8. hi Dave!

It sure seems like you have done your hmework in regard to preventing tooth decay naturally! I am lucky that I do not have tooth decay but you give very good tips for those who do. I had no idea that it could be reversed naturally, includig with what you eat. I thought that once it was present, you had to have it treated. And good tip with the fish oil! It seems like it does a lot. I would be interested in it if it helps with re-flux. Does it have a fishy taste though?

    • Hi Emily,

Thanks for the comments on my research and on my site. I had no idea it could be reversed naturally either when I had my filling. The dental industry very big and the business model of drill, fill and bill is a quite lucrative one, so they would not want it to get out. People have been preventing tooth decay for hundreds of years through diet and without the use of fluoride, say for instance, the Aborigines of Australia. When combined with a reasonably healthy diet, the fish oil supplements those fat soluble vitamins our teeth need to prevent decay that we don’t get from our modern diet. The fish oil comes in capsules so you don’t need to taste anything, just swallow it with water. I take them and I hardly even notice a taste. The fish oil helps with a whole range of health issues and there is a good chance it will help with your reflux 🙂

  9. Hi Dave,

I'm glad I stumbled upon your site. I do have slight indication of a tooth decay and ws really frustrated in having to consider a filling. This is something I'm definitely going to start asap and see the results. I will come back to this page for an update.

    Cheers, Yared
